New Student Orientation

Orientation for all new students and their families will take place on campus throughout the summer! Orientation provides important information you need as a new student, allows you to engage with our faculty, staff, and your peers, and exposes you to some of the many opportunities available as a member of the Heidelberg community.

Orientation is an immersive experience, where you will get to meet representatives from across campus! We're here to help you through the transition to becoming a Student Prince at Heidelberg. You'll have opportunities to discuss your academic schedule, financial aid package, and housing, find out more about opportunities to engage on campus, ask questions about our checklist, and dive into learning where offices are housed on our campus.

Each student is required to attend one orientation day of their choice. Prior registration is required, as each date has limited spots. Please plan to attend for the entirety of the day, as participation is required for all sessions. Each student has the option to bring up to 2 guests with them. Attendance of a guest is recommended, but not required.

Schedule:

• 8:30-9:00am - Check-In
• 9:00am - Welcome
• 9:30-11:45am - Morning Sessions
• 11:45am-1:45pm - Student Engagement & Lunch on Campus
• 1:15pm-3:30pm - Afternoon Sessions
• 3:30pm - Farewell
• 3:45 - Optional Afternoon Sessions
